December Birthday Tradition!

December Birthday Tradition!

Bradykin is all about creating Special Birthday Traditions.  December birthdays should be no exception.  I wanted to share a few party ideas on how to make your child’s December birthday super special.

A real easy birthday celebration is to make holiday birthday cookies.  Create an adorable birthday invitation online.  Set up a festive table for cookie decorating and let the children bring home their beautiful creations in personalized holiday boxes.

Volunteering at local charities or shelters.  My children love volunteering with their friends at the Boston based Cradles to Crayons in Brighton MA. Volunteering teaches children at a very young age an important lesson about appreciating everything they have and realizing everyone isn’t as fortunate. It would be great if your child could collect items needed for the charity such as school supplies or winter coats.

A public ice skating rink is an amazing place for a birthday party.  Inquire locally about renting a facility indoors or outdoors that may have a private room for cake and ice cream.

I have always treasured the ease of the holiday decorations as it’s always incorporated into December birthdays. Be sure to include your child into the birthday planning as you select the theme, invitations and refreshments. Most of all enjoy the process with your child as it only comes once a year. Please share with me and Bradykin your families December birthday ideas!

Wishing all my December Birthdays a Magical Day!

Susan
